We are official corporate supporters of St Giles Hospice. We have pledged to give a minimum of £2,500 per year to St Giles to help fund the vital care services they provide for local people. We do this by giving a donation to St Giles from every carpet or upholstery cleaning job we do.
In addition we are pleased to give 10% discount to players of the St Giles Hospice Lottery. Find out more here and see Knight & Doyle listed amongst the 150 local shops and businesses who are giving something back to our local community by supporting St Giles Lottery.
We are proud to have the St Giles logo on our vans to further raise awareness of the hospice. “We wanted to support a local charity and when we looked at St Giles Hospice and the work that it does we knew that we had found the right cause.” Rich Doyle, Partner, Knight & Doyle Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning.

When Pelsall Community Centre put out an appeal for a cold fogging machine we were more than happy to donate one. We also donated a supply of the solutions needed to run the machine, and we trained staff how to use it.
The fogging machine will be used to sanitise smaller meeting rooms between uses, and can be used by centre staff, volunteers and people hiring the rooms. Pelsall Community Centre is the local community centre near where Knight & Doyle partner Rich Doyle lives. It is used by a diverse range of people from youth and disabled groups to charities and the Townswomen’s Guild for all kinds of activities and sports.
We presented the cold fogging machine to Councillor Garry Perry who said “Throughout the Covid pandemic I’ve seen countless local acts of kindness from both individuals and businesses. This is just one example of a business providing help to a local volunteer led organisation to add value to reset opportunities as we all learn to live with Covid. Without people like Knight & Doyle Pelsall Community Centre would be dipping into charitable funds. The rising stars of Covid are people doing things not for their own personal gain but to support local organisations.”
The Stan Ball Centre in Bloxwich rang us for a quote to clean their carpets we they were getting the centre Covid-19 safe for users to return after lockdown. They were delighted when we said we would do this work for free.
We cleaned the daycare room for the elderly, a 60sqm room and we donated bottles of sanitiser.
Chief Executive Eleanor said, “They arrived as planned, worked hard and we are really pleased with the results, our carpets look like new.” She continued “We are a charity and really appreciate when companies share our vision of supporting the local community and help us out along the way.”
The Stan Ball Centre is run by the local charity Bloxwich Community Partnership and provides adult care and support for adults of all ages.
